Born in Lorraine, France, he started his musical education at just
five years old, studying classical music and jazz at the conservatory.
Over the course of fourteen
years, he not only honed his skills in these traditional forms but also began exploring electronic
music, merging it with his classical training.
By the age of 18, he ventured into DJing, a move
that marked the beginning of his production career.
His debut remix of Kylie Minogue's "In Your
Eyes" was signed by EMI, setting the stage for his future success as a ghost producer and
remixer for major artists like The Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, and Britney
Spears.
Before diving fully into his music career, CELESTAL explored his passion for fashion. He worked
with high-end fashion houses and prestigious brands, sharpening his aesthetic sense and
deepening his understanding of image, all while developing his unique musical style.
Influenced
by British pop, Stevie Wonder, and house music legends like Frankie Knuckles, Steve ‘Silk’
Hurley, and David Morales, CELESTAL's music is a sophisticated blend of pop, electro, and
deep emotion, often with a touch of melancholy.
In 2017, CELESTAL officially launched his career under his artist name with the release of his
first single. His early tracks,
"Naturally" and "Colors,
" established his presence on the national
stage, but it was "Old School Romance,
" his third single released in late 2018, that propelled
him to international recognition. The track made its way into the T op 100 Global Shazam Charts
and topped the charts in Italy, amassing over 15 million streams worldwide.
The music video,
featuring Fanny Sage, a dancer associated with Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel N°5, further
solidified CELESTAL's unique blend of fashion, dance, and music.
CELESTAL's success continued with collaborations such as "OUT IN STYLE" with Cecilia Krull,
the voice behind the hit theme song of "La Casa De Papel,
" and "OVER YOU" with German DJ
Sharam Jey and English singer Moss Kena. His 2022 single "BEAUTIFUL LIE,
" featuring Devon
Graves and GRYNN, marked a return to his signature style—chic pop-folk infused with electro
elements.
The track's success in France and beyond highlighted CELESTAL's ability to craft
music that resonates across different cultures.
CELESTAL's latest single,
"BLACKBIRD feat. DEVON GRAVES,
" continues his exploration of
indie pop, with a powerful message of hope and resilience.
Featuring a gospel choir, the song
builds from a place of fragility to one of strength, echoing its uplifting theme. CELESTAL
describes "BLACKBIRD" as an anthem of overcoming adversity, with the gospel choir adding a
crescendo that underscores the transition from vulnerability to empowerment
